It makes CAT6, CAT6A and CAT7 LAN cables for OEM and enterprise customers, CCTV cables, and the CAT6Flat range of flat FRLS travelling cables for lifts. Its consumer LAN cable brand is WIAN.
Why a cable maker built a lift-cable site
Lift cameras fail for one reason more than any other: the wrong cable in the loop. We were asked the same questions on the phone every week — flat or round, which plug, how much cable, why does the picture drop when the car moves — so we wrote the answers down. This site is that notebook, with the datasheets attached.
What we make
The four CAT6Flat cables are made end-to-end at the Vapi plant: copper drawn and stranded to 7/0.195 mm, pairs individually sheathed, GI messengers laid in where the shaft needs them, and a flexible FRLS PVC jacket extruded in the 12 × 5 mm flat profile. Every lot is batch-tested; the values on the datasheet are measured values.
Who uses them
Lift manufacturers and AMC companies for new installations and modernisations, CCTV installers and system integrators adding cameras and intercoms to existing lifts, and builders' consultants who specify by part code. The cables are approved by leading lift OEMs; we do not publish customer names.
