No call-backs from the lift.
Most lift-camera failures are cable failures, and most of those are round CAT6 in the loop, a solid-core plug or a tight cable tie. Here is the cable and the method that avoid all three.
Stranded, flat, FRLS
CC-8251G-90 for IP cameras on PoE up to 60 m; CC-9511K-90 for HD cameras on a DVR; CC-4251G-90 for intercoms; CC-8261G-90 with GI rope for tall or busy shafts.

Plugs made for solid core bite one strand and loosen with vibration. Use a plug rated for stranded conductors or a pass-through plug with stranded contacts, and keep every joint out of the moving loop.

Loop ≈ travel ÷ 2 + 3 m when fixed mid-shaft. Add 10 % slack and round up to 90 m coil pairs. The calculator does it and writes the WhatsApp message.

Installers ask
Which RJ45 plug do I use on CAT6 flat?
A plug rated for stranded conductors (or a pass-through plug with stranded-compatible contacts). Plugs made for solid core bite a single strand and loosen under vibration.
Can I join the flat cable to round CAT6?
Yes, in the junction box in the fixed section — keystone to keystone or a coupler. Never inside the moving loop.
How do I fix it in the shaft?
Cushioned clamps at the travelling-cable bracket and at the car top, flat face to the bracket, loop hanging free. On the GI rope version, rope clamps carry the load. The lift company does or supervises the fixing.
Where do I buy it?
Through Channeltech and WIAN dealers, or directly for project quantities. Message +91 98199 06111 on WhatsApp with the part code and your city.
