CC-9511K-90 — questions
What is CC-9511K-90?
CC-9511K-90 is the Channeltech 2+2 Flat lift cable: two multi-strand tinned-copper video cores with LDPE insulation and two multi-strand copper power cores, in a black flexible FRLS PVC flat jacket. It carries an HD or analog camera's video and its 12 V supply in one cable.
Which cameras does it suit?
HD-TVI, AHD, HD-CVI and older analog cameras — anything that plugs into a DVR with a BNC. For IP cameras that connect to an NVR, use the CAT6 Flat 4 Pair, CC-8251G-90.
Why two video cores?
One is normally enough for a single camera; the second gives you a spare, or a second camera in the car, without pulling another cable. Two power cores carry the 12 V DC to the camera.
Why tinned copper on the video cores?
Tinning protects the fine strands from oxidation over years of flexing and humidity in the shaft, which keeps the video path low-loss and the BNC joints reliable.
