180 m coils from Mumbai
Standard 180 m coils (90 + 90 m) are held in stock in Mumbai and at dealers, cut to 90 m if you prefer. 200–500 m rolls on special request, and a jacket print with your text, are scheduled at the Vapi plant.

Conductor stranding, pair sheathing and FRLS jacketing are done in-house at Vapi, Gujarat. Batch testing on every lot; the datasheet values are measured, not quoted.

Most lift-camera failures are cable failures, and most of those are round CAT6 in the moving loop, a solid-core plug or a tight cable tie. Here is the cable and the method that avoid all three.

Plugs made for solid core bite one strand and loosen with vibration. Use a plug rated for stranded conductors, or a pass-through plug with stranded contacts, and keep every joint out of the moving loop.

Loop is about travel ÷ 2 + 3 m when fixed at mid-height. Add 10 % slack, cut each lift from the coil as one piece, and round up to whole 180 m coils. The calculator does it from the number of floors and writes the WhatsApp message.

Are the cables approved by lift OEMs?
Yes — Channeltech flat lift cables are approved by leading lift OEMs and supplied to lift manufacturers and AMC companies across India. Ask for the approval documents relevant to your OEM.
Can we get custom lengths or a private print?
The standard pack is a 180 m continuous coil (90 + 90 m), cut to 90 m if you prefer. 200, 300, 400 and 500 m rolls are available on special request, and the jacket print can carry your requirement.
What documents can you supply for a tender?
Technical datasheet, manufacturer authorisation, compliance statement against the tender specification, ISO 9001 certificate and test reports, issued per project.
What is the lead time?
Standard coils are normally available from stock in Mumbai; project quantities and special lengths are scheduled at the Vapi plant. Tell us the quantity and the date and we will confirm.
Which RJ45 plug do I use on CAT6 flat?
A plug rated for stranded conductors (or a pass-through plug with stranded-compatible contacts). Plugs made for solid core bite a single strand and loosen under vibration.
Can I join the flat cable to round CAT6?
Yes, in the junction box in the fixed section — keystone to keystone or a coupler. Never inside the moving loop.
How do I fix it in the lift well?
Cushioned clamps at the travelling-cable bracket and at the cabin top, flat face to the bracket, loop hanging free. On the GI rope version, rope clamps carry the load. The lift company does or supervises the fixing.
