Flat lift cable for South and Southeast Asia
Humid, dense, tall apartment cities are hard on cable. Channeltech supplies the flat elevator cables for lift cameras and intercoms to neighbouring and regional markets on FOB or EXW terms, with the same part codes India uses.
Typical buyers: importers and distributors, lift companies and CCTV integrators.
Close to India
Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and the Maldives are our nearest export markets. On EXW terms your own forwarder collects the goods from us in India and routes them by road, rail or sea as suits your border or port. On FOB terms we load at Nhava Sheva, Mumbai. For Southeast Asia, sea freight from Nhava Sheva is the usual route.
Humidity and monsoon
Tropical lift wells are damp. The jackets are FRLS PVC, and in the 2+2 Flat the two video cores are tinned copper, which resists oxidation better than bare copper where moisture is present. Use compression BNC connectors and keep the joints out of the moving loop, as described in the installation guide.
Which cable for which camera
Where the lifts have HD, AHD or analog cameras on a DVR, the 2+2 Flat (CC-9511K-90) carries the picture and the 12 V supply in one flat cable. Where they have IP cameras on PoE, use the CAT6 Flat 4 Pair (CC-8251G-90). Send us your camera list and we recommend one cable per lift type.
Repeat orders from one source
Regional integrators often buy for many buildings over a year. A fixed set of part codes lets you reorder without a new specification each time. The minimum is 1,000 m per order, and you can mix cables.

South and Southeast Asia: common questions
Can we collect the goods ourselves in India (EXW)?
Yes. We quote EXW as well as FOB. On EXW your freight forwarder collects the goods from us in India and handles export clearance and freight, which suits buyers in neighbouring countries who already have a forwarder.
Which cable do I use for an HD or analog camera in a lift?
CC-9511K-90, the 2+2 Flat: two tinned-copper video cores and two copper power cores in one flat FRLS jacket, so the picture and the 12 V supply travel together. For an IP camera on PoE use CC-8251G-90.
Will the cable cope with humid lift wells?
The jacket is flexible FRLS PVC with an operating range of −20 to +75 °C, and the video cores of the 2+2 Flat are tinned copper. Good terminations matter as much as the cable: use compression BNC or RJ45 plugs rated for stranded conductors, and no joints in the moving loop.
Tell us the cable, the quantity and the port.
The minimum export order is 1,000 m (about six 180 m coils). We reply with part codes, coils, packing, lead time and the documents we will supply. Prices follow the copper rate, so they are quoted per order.
Mon–Sat, 10 am – 7 pm IST (GMT+5:30). We reply within one working hour during office hours.
